Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 August 2026These terms govern your use of the Digital Jungle Computers website and our website design, hosting, remote IT support, and custom PC build services. By requesting a quote, booking a session, or using this site, you agree to the terms below.
1. Our services
Digital Jungle Computers provides three core services: website design, development and hosting (including domain and email setup, SEO and ongoing maintenance); remote computer support (diagnostics, repair, virus removal, network configuration, software installation and backup assistance, delivered via secure remote-access software); and custom PC builds (assembly, component sourcing, and workstation or gaming PC builds to your specification).
2. Website & hosting projects
- Website packages are quoted individually based on scope; an agreed deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due on completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Hosting plans are billed monthly in advance and continue until cancelled with reasonable notice.
- Revisions are included up to the number specified in your package; further changes may be quoted separately.
- You remain the owner of your domain name, content and any custom code developed specifically for your project, once paid in full.
3. IT support requests and payment
- IT support sessions are arranged directly via WhatsApp or email — message us with a description of the issue, and we'll confirm a time that works for you.
- Payment is arranged directly with your technician once a time is confirmed; specific payment details are agreed at that point.
- Each One Hour Remote Support session is billed once, per session. There is no recurring subscription — you only pay when you use the service.
4. Custom PC build projects
- Build quotes are based on the components and scope agreed at the time; component prices can change, so quotes are valid for a limited period, confirmed when you accept.
- Where we source components on your behalf (Full Build Service and above), an agreed deposit may be required before ordering parts, with the balance due on collection or delivery.
- Where you supply your own parts (Build & Assembly), we are not responsible for defects, compatibility issues, or DOA (dead-on-arrival) components in parts you provide, though we will flag anything we notice before starting.
- The six-month build warranty on the Full Build Service covers our workmanship (assembly, cabling, configuration) only; individual components remain covered by their own manufacturer warranties, and we'll assist with any claim.
- Builds are tested and benchmarked before collection or delivery; any issue found in that process is fixed before the build is handed over.
5. Client responsibilities
- For IT support, you confirm that you are authorised to grant remote access to the device in question, and are responsible for backing up important data before a session, although we take reasonable care to avoid data loss.
- For website and hosting projects, you're responsible for providing content, feedback and approvals in a timely manner so we can keep to the agreed timeline.
- For PC builds, you're responsible for providing accurate requirements (budget, use case, or a parts list) and for the condition of any components you supply yourself.
- You must provide accurate contact details and, for IT support, a reasonably clear description of the issue when you message us.
6. Limitations of service
Some computer issues — particularly physical hardware faults — cannot be resolved remotely. Where this is the case, we will inform you promptly and will not charge for a fix that cannot be delivered. We do not guarantee that every software issue can be fully resolved, but we will always explain our findings clearly. For website projects, timelines depend on receiving content and feedback from you promptly. For PC builds, timelines depend on component availability, which can vary.
7. Cancellations and refunds
IT support sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 2 hours before the agreed time at no charge. Refund requests for a session are considered on a case-by-case basis and should be sent to digitaljunglecomputers@gmail.com within 48 hours of the session. Website project deposits are generally non-refundable once work has begun; hosting may be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing month. PC build deposits are non-refundable once components have been ordered on your behalf, but are fully refundable if you cancel before ordering begins.
8. Acceptable use
Our services may not be used to install, repair, or configure software obtained illegally, to host unlawful content, or for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to decline or end a session, suspend hosting, or decline a build request that appears to involve such activity.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digital Jungle Computers is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our services, including loss of data not backed up prior to an IT support session, downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control, or component failure in a PC build outside our workmanship warranty. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your own country.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
